…my tale of the shattering of a glass house.

WAIT!!!,

Just before you read this poem, here’s the story behind it.

It’s a tale that goes through the musings of someone who has been broken hearted. It embodies his passion & love and his wish to hope that time would fix the damage his love has left him with.

You might ask why “What do I name you?”. Well that’s because even as hard as I thought I could not come up with a name that sounded suitable in my ears.

You know what, why don’t you suggest a name for me in the comments?

“As time goes by and the and tears dry from my eye.

My broken heart will mend.

As time goes by and seasons fly.

Your reign of terror will end.

The toxicity that we call a relationship will cease.

As time goes by, the term “You and I”.

Would be forgotten and the memories will be dead.

As time goes by and the excitement dies down.

Your blazing flame is reduced to a spark once more.

As time goes by and challenges rise.

Would you stay still while you watch passion and love die.

As time went by, questions asked by night.

Beckoned for answers in the light.

But as a day gone by gives way to twilight.

Most of the truths you told me have become lies.

Tears like a raging flood filled up my eye.

And hurt, I look at life and wanted to die.

Let me lie,

Lie in this grave of hurts & heartache and kiss this world goodbye.

Sigh.

And as time goes by, from lust to rust and now dust.

All the love we once had was lost.

Numb as I am unwilling to try.

But it did not start like this,

I was like a house mad of Diamonds, the hardest substance.

Beautiful yet impenetrable .

But i guess the only way a heart can break,

Is if it was a heart that loved so much.

Because for a heart to truly break.

It must have truly loved.”
