A dive into Fiction

...from the springboard to the depths of the ocean…

I remember that evening.

It was the first time I officially got job to write fiction. I had just seeing someone’s status stating they were in need of a fantasy fiction writer and straightway I applied even though I hadn’t written stories in a long time (at least the book kind).

I was told to write up a sample, i could write anything but everything I was to write must be submitted in the next 1 hour.

I was like “WOah!!!” “How do i do this?”. So I negotiated for an hour and half and after that here’s what a wrote.

I call it “A dive into fiction” because it had been so long writing fiction again, i felt like I was diving into the sea headfirst, exploring depths long forgotten..

Here we go!

“He looked me in the eyes and kissed me, I could feel his lips warm on mine, melting away the cold Inside me, his hand behind my head guiding me as over 500 years of combined pack history flowed into my open mind as the lines separating our individual consciousness blurred.

This was how it was supposed to go, even though he didn’t know, this wasn’t my first time.

And it certainly won’t be my last.

I always got tired of the cycle of rituals but still this was an important step.

This was more than a kiss, meant I was one of them now — “A white Wolf”.

My journey to conquest had just begun.

And so had his end.

I’m a Majora black, one of the beings that dwell in the depths of the dark. Our missions are simple, infiltrate, dominate, conquer.

That’s how it’s always been, and in more than a millennia that I’ve existed, that’s what I’ve always done.

That’s what it’s supposed to be but, Deglan of the White Wolf Clan is different and no matter how hard she tries she can’t bring herself to end him.

So that’s it!!!!!!!

In about an hour later I was reviewed and got the job.

One of my most exciting projects till date!

I’d tell you all about it right now but that’s a story for another day.😁
