I once went to a burning city

The air filled with Presence and the streets built with gasoline

I was at a burning city

With men as burning coals and tongues of fire upon their heads

I once went to a burning city

The people there unusual, movements unusual, like the wind yet free flowing like water.

I was drawn in, pulled in by an irresistible force

In water baptized I caught fire.

I am now a citizen of the burning city

Set ablaze but not consumed
